Happy Retirement

This was a retirement cake for a real estate agent. The house is cake covered and decorated in fondant.
The pretty lady sitting on the lawn is my interpretation of the guest of honor and is made of gumpaste.

Pink and sweet baby shower cake

A girly baby shower cake. All the embelishements are made of fondant and are edible.
A loop bow adorns the top tier with little pearly butterflies. An edible baby booty and bow sit on the bottom tier.

Paris

This is a Paris themed cake for a bridal shower. The Eifel tower is edible and made from royal icing.
The bottom tier has a paris silhouette cityscape.

Reese Peanut Butter Cup

This is a reese peanut butter cup cake in every sense of the word. It was chocolate cake with alternating layers of peanut butter frosting and chocolate frosting. Covered in fondant. The dog was made out of rise krispy treats and fondant. This was a cake made to combine this young ladies two favourite things, Reese and dogs.

Jewellery Box cake

This was made to celebrate a 60th birthday. It is a replica of the Jewellery chest that the woman owns.

It was coconut cake with lemon cream filling. Covered with fondant. All the accents except for the door knobs are fondant.

Coral/Beach cake

This is a bridal shower cake in the coral and beach theme. The coral on the top is made from royal icing and is edible. All the shells on the cake are edible.

The bottom tier is chocolate cake with irish cream filling and the top tier is vanilla cake with hazelnut chocolate ganache filling.

Exercise Cake

This cake was made for a client' s mother who was turning 60 and she is a very much into working out. All the equipment on the cake are edible. I made silhouettes of yoga positions and Lulu lemon logo around the cake.
